Dr. Witkin joined Maine Eye Care Associates in 1987. He is the principal cellist with the Colby College Symphony Orchestra, and also enjoys horseback riding, skiing, and bird watching. He resides in Belgrade with his wife Tanna and their three dogs and two cats.

Dr. Witkin is available for consultation in all areas of ophthalmology. His areas of interest include age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and small incision cataract surgery. He offers his patients all intraocular lens options, including toric, multifocal and accommodative.
